Rolling back the years again for this one. The details/memories are sketchy to say the least, but I’m pretty sure this was recorded live at a house party somewhere near the M25. The tape is labelled ‘December 23 1998’ so it must have been a festive bash.
The ramshackle mixing and beats-per-minute leads me to believe it was late in the evening…not to mention the fact that genres meant nothing to me that evening. Was bighardgoabeatspeedhousegarageandbass ever a thing?
What can I say? It was a party, and I don’t recall any complaints š
